Tshiebwe is one of the greatest rebounders college basketball has ever seen. The Kentucky product’s energy in the paint and on the glass has translated to the pros, too. He averaged 7.6 points and 8.7 rebounds in 18.2 minutes a night for the Jazz in 2024-25. It's no surprise that TWT and BMB named him the best rebounder on a two-way contract.

"Oscar plays with a level of physicality and motor that immediately translates. He’s a graduate of the Steven Adams School of Glass Cleaning (17.6 reb/75, 6.6 oreb/75) and he's now showing it on real minute volume. Possession creation machine!"

"The guy's got an engine that never runs out of gas. He’s undersized for a center but it’s hard to argue with those rebounding numbers. I think he’d be a great addition to any team given the chance."

Oscar Tshiebwe posted 18p, 20r, 8a (career high) with 2 steals and 4 blocks against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He was a beast with second chance points and was really effective as a roller. He even used his speed to take unbalanced defenders off the bounce to the rim. It was a great display of his physicality and understanding of the game. Thanks to Logan Dykhouse for the analysis!

A third-string role is in grasp for the big man with John Collins and Micah Potter, two rotational pieces from 2024-25, now gone. This move leaves the Jazz with one open two-way slot that is expected to be filled by John Tonje. Congrats, Oscar!
