In the wake of their big win over Atlanta, the Clippers agreed to a two-way contract with second-year point guard RayJ Dennis. Dennis, who was recently waived by the Pacers, played Summer League and preseason with LA back in 2024. The Baylor product will replenish the some of the team's guard depth after the release of Chris Paul. To make room for Dennis, Los Angeles waived rookie Jahmyl Telfort, who had only played a few garbage time minutes on the season.
The Indiana Pacers agreed to a two-way deal with G League star Ethan Thompson today. After years of grinding in the minors, this should finally be Thompson's chance to step on an NBA floor and show what he can do. The 26-year-old plays a versatile and athletic style of offense that should make him a fun fit in Indiana's system. Congrats, Ethan! To make room for Thompson, the Pacers released RayJ Dennis, who appeared in 13 games for the team this season and averaged 4.9 points.
