Leons is a defensive menace who will gladly take on responsibilities at the point of attack, on the wing or from the helpside as a 6’9” forward. His offensive game has improved over time, too. The Netherlands native appeared in six games for OKC last season as a rookie.
Malevy Leons made his first-career NBA start in yesterday's close loss to the Knicks. The Dutch forward recorded two points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 20 minutes played.

Malevy Leons had a breakout game in last night's win over the Grizzlies. The Dutch forward recorded several career-highs, including nine points, eight rebounds (five offensive), two assists, and two steals. He did this all in just 18 minutes played.

The Warriors have agreed to a two-way with 6'9" defensive ace Malevy Leons, who will be starting his second year in the NBA. Leons is an intriguing two-way prospect who should match Golden State's ethos. Congrats, Malevy! The Dubs made room for Leons by cutting Alex Toohey, their 2025 second-round pick. Toohey is set to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, so giving his roster spot to someone else while he recovers makes sense for the team.

The Thunder romped the Hornets in their preseason matchup today, and their training camp signees led the charge. Undrafted rookie Chris Youngblood tallied 20 points with five threes. Jazian Gortman and Malevy Leons scored 15 and 11 points, respectively. All three guys have convincing cases to earn the team's final open two-way.
In the wake of Summer League, Leons signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Thunder, meaning he'll have the opportunity to compete for one of the team's open two-way slots during training camp. Leons spent his first professional season with the Thunder and their G League affiliate in 2024-25.
