The G League has announced the roster for their G League United squad that will participate in FIBA's International Cup this September. The team includes minor league stars James Akinjo, Buddy Boeheim, Dexter Dennis, Jaden Shakelford, and Jamarion Sharp.

In a three-team trade between Wisconsin, Capital City, and Greensboro, five players could be switching teams. The returning rights to. Kira Lewis Jr., Lindell Wigginton, and Jeremiah Tilmon are going to the Herd, while Ibou Badji has been dealt to the Swarm. Justin Moore is going to the Go-Go. This deal replenishes Wisconsin's guard room after they flipped James Akinjo earlier in the week.

Akinjo, who spent one-and-a-half seasons with Wisconsin (Milwaukee's G League affiliate), will be joining the Grand Rapids Gold. In exchange for their lead guard, the Herd are bringing back Will Richardson and a G League first round pick.
