Miller is cut from the same cloth as Josh Okogie. He’s a relentless hustler who makes an impact defensively and on the glass. The TCU product shot just 31.3% from three as a rookie in the G League, though, and some more consistency from deep from him would go a long way.
San Antonio has waived Stanley Umude, opening up room for Emanuel Miller on a new two-way contract. Miller, a TCU product, was recently waived by the Cavaliers but now gets another chance in short order. Congrats, Emanuel!
Cleveland has rewarded one of their top G League players, Darius Brown, with a two-way contract. After 1.5 years in the G, Brown will now get his first NBA opportunity. Congrats, Darius! To make room for Brown, the Cavs released Emanuel Miller, the second-year forward they acquired in a trade earlier this month.
As part of the De'Andre Hunter trade, Cleveland is bringing in forward Emanuel Miller from the Bulls. To make room for their new two-way addition, the team has waived Luke Travers, who was in his second season as a Cavalier. Miller averaged 3.0 points in his five appearances for Chicago this year.
